Lorrie Drennon (née Gordon) was raised in a deeply Christian home where Scripture, prayer, and reverence for God shaped everyday life. Surrounded by a strong community of believers, her faith was formed early and became the steady foundation that would carry her through every season. From childhood, she understood that faith was not merely outward behavior, but a life anchored in genuine dependence on God’s power.
Each of Lorrie’s Books comprises a core theme, as mentioned below:
Trauma, healing, physical transformation, and ultimately spiritual confrontation with sugar.
FINDING GOD IN THE EMPTY SPACES
God intentionally created specific “voids” within us that only He can fill.
What Golden Calf Are You Carving
A thoughtful spiritual foundation for understanding idolatry in a modern context.
Lorrie Drennon (née Gordon) was raised in a deeply Christian home where Scripture and prayer shaped her faith from childhood. Passionate about caring for children and teaching, she spent years investing in students before a serious car accident in 2015 and a later diagnosis of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) redirected her path.
Unable to return to the classroom, Lorrie embraced writing as a renewed calling to teach through the written word. Her work reflects a life refined by trial and anchored in steadfast trust in God’s power. She lives in Alba, Texas, with her family.
